Mark Pincus
Mark Pincus is the founder and chairman of Zynga, the mobile and social gaming company behind FarmVille, Mafia Wars, and Words with Friends, which he built into one of the first mass-market consumer businesses on the Facebook platform. He was an early investor in Napster, Friendster, and Facebook, and — alongside Reid Hoffman’s circle of early-2000s consumer-internet veterans — helped coin the term ‘Web 2.0’. Before Zynga he founded Freeloader (sold for $38 million) and the publicly-listed support.com, then tribe.net, a social network that never found mainstream traction.
