Shane Parrish
Canadian writer and entrepreneur. Founder of Farnam Street (fs.blog), a widely-read resource on clear thinking, mental models, and decision-making. Host of The Knowledge Project podcast. Author of the The Great Mental Models series.
Parrish’s central interest is the question of how to think well under uncertainty — drawing on Warren Buffett’s admiration for Berkshire Hathaway’s naming inspiration (the Farnam Street address in Omaha) as a conceptual touchstone. His work synthesises insights from across disciplines: psychology, physics, biology, economics, and history.
