American AI researcher and podcaster. Research scientist at MIT, working on human-robot interaction and autonomous vehicles. Host of the Lex Fridman Podcast, one of the highest-reach long-form interview shows in technology and science.
Fridman’s interviews are notable for their range — from leading AI researchers and physicists to political figures and philosophers — and for his patient, unhurried style. Conversations regularly run three to six hours. His episodes with figures such as Andrej Karpathy, Elon Musk, and Vladimir Putin have each drawn tens of millions of views.
