Tom Conrad
Product and engineering leader. Most notable for surviving two of the highest-profile product failures in Silicon Valley history: Pets.com (engineering lead during its 19-month arc from launch to public company to shutdown) and Quibi (CPO — launched two weeks into COVID; shut down ~18 months after launch). Currently CEO of Zero Longevity Science (longevity health app). Previously CTO at Pandora for ~15 years.
Known for the insight that company failures often stem from a broken founding equation rather than poor execution — a distinction that took him two companies to fully internalise.
