Michelle Rial

Michelle Rial is a graphic designer and the creator of viral infographic charts shared widely across social media. She is also the co-author of Charts for Babies (ages 0–4, published April 7th), the third book in a series. Born in Venezuela; she met Lenny Rachitsky on HowAboutWe (her first online date) and they are married.

Her creative process: one shot of espresso, a strict two-hour deadline, good sleep the night before. Each chart goes through five-plus iterations within the two-hour window. The constraint system generates the focus that eliminates perfectionism.
