Kayvon Beykpour

Co-founder of Periscope, the live-streaming platform acquired by Twitter in 2015 before public launch. The Periscope architecture — mobile-native live video with real-time audience interaction — became the template for Instagram Live, TikTok Live, and Facebook Live. Beykpour joined Twitter post-acquisition and rose to head of product and then GM of consumer. He led the product revival that shipped Super Follows, Communities, Twitter Blue, Spaces, and Fleets. Fired during paternity leave when Elon Musk’s acquisition closed in 2022.
