John Zeratsky
Designer and author; co-founder of Character Capital (character.vc) alongside Jake Knapp and Eli Blee-Goldman. Previously at Google Ventures running Design Sprints with portfolio companies; before that at Google and YouTube as a design lead.
Known for co-creating the Foundation Sprint with Jake Knapp; his emphasis on the practitioner-learning angle (Character Labs giving them real-time data on what works with inception-stage founders); the observation that magic lenses work even when teams don’t converge (they reveal which lens is the real priority). Co-author of Sprint and Click. Sometimes called “JZ”.
