Co-founder and CEO of Captions, an AI video creation and editing app with over 10 million users and more than $100 million raised. Captions was built in a weekend and hit the top of the App Store on launch; it focuses on “talking video” — enabling non-professionals to create, edit, and enhance videos in which people speak to camera.
Previously an early employee at Snap, where he led the design engineering function — a small team of IC designer-engineers who prototyped new product ideas inside the Snap production app, tested them in small markets, and created internal virality to generate alignment before committing full engineering resources. Also held engineering roles at Microsoft and other companies.
