Brian Tolkin
Head of product and design at Opendoor. Previously spent ~five years at Uber, joining as employee ~100 on the operations team in 2012 (interviewed on 4 July; Travis Kalanick was present). Moved from ops into product; led uberPOOL from launch through its global rollout; and helped formalise the product operations function — a hybrid role bridging centralised product teams with globally distributed ops. Mentored by Jeff Holden (Uber CPO).
