Dwarkesh Patel
Dwarkesh Patel is the host of the Dwarkesh Podcast, a long-form interview show covering AI, science, history, and economics. He was formerly a software engineer and began podcasting in 2022, quickly building a reputation for technically rigorous, unusually long conversations — routinely running three to five hours — with leading researchers and founders.
He is known for preparation depth and adversarial engagement: guests report being pressed harder than in most media interviews. His conversations with AI researchers (Andrej Karpathy, Dario Amodei, Ilya Sutskever) are among the most-cited primary sources on the technical trajectory of AI.
