Alex O’Connor
British philosopher and YouTuber who hosts Within Reason, a long-form interview show on philosophy, science, and religion. Online under the handle CosmicSkeptic, O’Connor built an audience as a sceptic and atheist commentator before transitioning to more formally philosophical interviewing. He read Philosophy at Oxford, and his questions reflect both analytic rigour and a willingness to voice the layperson’s intuitions against trained philosophers — which gives Within Reason its characteristic tension.
